LRH appoints interim chief marketing office

Lake Region Healthcare announces the appointment of Mary Farr as interim chief marketing officer.  Farr’s duties during her three to six month assignment will include working with the hospital’s leadership teams to create a new marketing strategy and plan.

She will lead research, review internal and external marketing and communication tactics and develop new advertising programs to enhance recruitment and retention.

Farr was matched with Lake Region Healthcare by her employer, Experienced Resources, LLC, of the Twin Cities.

Farr has an extensive health care background including hospital-based marketing and public relations to medical education, medical ethics and medical professional liability insurance.  She is particularly interested in the challenge regional health care providers face.

“Mary’s experience is perfectly suited for the current needs at Lake Region Healthcare,” said Larry Schulz, Lake Region Healthcare CEO.  “She is a necessary asset in the coming months as we create a new marketing strategy and devise a plan to implement that strategy.”
