Our Founders

Experienced Resources was founded in 2005 by Mary Christensen and Damian Martin. The company is the result of their vision to utilize the wisdom and experience of professionals in the second half of their careers and to create a hybrid staffing firm that combines features from the temporary staffing and consulting models.

Mary Christensen
Mary Christensen
is a human resource (HR) professional recognized for her ability to successfully match employers and talent within the health care industry and specialty medical practices. She has held management positions in pediatrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology and OBGYN. Mary received her formal education in human resource management at Cardinal Stritch University, and health care management at the University of Central Florida. Mary is a member of the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA), Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA), Women’s Health Leadership Trust (TRUST), Human Resource Executive Forum (HREF) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Mary is a board member of Vail Place.

Damian Martin
Damian Martin
is a senior executive with experience in sales and marketing, as well as employee, project and strategic management. Before founding Experienced Resources, he served as an assistant vice president and purchasing manager for a regional banking organization, and as a vice president of sales and marketing in manufacturing. His broad business background provides a solid foundation for recruiting and matching companies with top-performing executives. Damian has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Damian is a mentor through the Kinship of Greater Minneapolis organization.
